When did Daniel Schorr on NPR become Daniel Whorr?

He's SOOOOOO fucking naive. Or he's a whore. They let this old stupid git give Bush-friendly opinion peces on NPR. Today he said the memos the WH released on torure deliberations prove Bush's approach was "humane".
Right, gramps. Which is why Bush hates the Geneva Convention...cuz he's "humane".
I expect Schorr's next opinion piece to say how nasty Moore is for making F911. Kee-riced.
I have a question for DUer NPR supporters...and a challenge. Tell me WHY THE HELL you send money to these pantywaists? Look. Do this. Take the money you would send to NPR and use it to buy a SIRIUS satellite system and a years worth of their programming instead. And if that ain't THE perfect option, PLEASE tell me WHY that is not a good alternative, and how NPR is gonna be so much better than Radio Left and Air America, BBC, etc. etc. Or buy into XMRadio (is that the name for the other one?), cause it don't matter which one. Just use your money BETTER. Thank you.
