There seems to be a lot of crossover of advertisers from Rush to AA, and I think it's just that some businesses want to advertise on talk radio, and aren't concerned about the content. It can be about the cheapest advertising there is, if you're not fussy about when and where the ad runs.
Ad buys are probably going through ad agencies or media buyers, too... maybe some of them are lefties and want to support AA with evil Sam's money.
