The Amazingly Awful Lou Dobbs....
This is his idiotic commentary for the day....

"House Democrats missed two important opportunities last week.
On Thursday, the House of Representatives approved legislation to alter the corporate tax code, provide $155 billion in tax breaks and add billions in federal spending to special interest groups. And on Friday, House Democrats failed to block a multibillion-dollar Department of Homeland Security contract for Bermuda-based Accenture."

http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/06/23/dobbs.congress/index.html

So it's the DEMOCRATS' FAULT that really crappy anti-American shit passed in Congress where the REPUBLICANS CONTROL BOTH HOUSES?

In fact, you have to scroll down near the bottom to find the WORD "Republicans"...and then it's "Congress, Democrats and Republicans alike, should be doing more blah blah blah..." These bills didn't originate through a force of nature...the scum of the earth wrote these measures and passed them. But instead of blaming the scum for their actions, this pisswit says it's the opposition's fault for not stopping it..

3. It's the party of "personal reponsibility"
Somebody ELSE is always "personally responsible" for GOP fuck-ups.

The buck stops everywhere else...

2. He's right....
... the wingers are just doing what they do, loot and distribute, and the Dems sit on their thumbs. A pox on both their houses.

9. What I mean is..
.... that on many issues, the Dems are just no better than the Repubs. They take the "safe" tack every time.

I'm voting for Kerry come hell or high water, but the whole Dem party has lost their way IMHO.

5. It reminds me of the run up to the Iraq Fiasco when my Mom and I were
bitching so much about the Democrats rolling over and going along with Shrub and Co. that my 5 year old said "yeah, I don't like the Demicrits either".

People expect this crap from the Repubs and it pisses you off when the Dem's that could stop it don't stick by their principles or they get bought off.

I agree, though, Dobbs should have made it clear that it was a RW proposal supported by all the Repugs.

7. I thought that too at first
But I think it is a great headline to get repubs to read this article. If there is something bad in there about the dems, the repubs will pick it up and read it. Some (I know only a few) may think about who put this through. If he had blamed the repubs, they would not have read it at all. Most of them I know steer away for any repub negative news because they have been brainwashed about the "liberal" media. I think it is great physiological ammo and smart of Lou.

8. The fucking republicans have the majority
in all 3 branches the executive the judiciary(the Cheney ruling today verifies that not to mention the 2000 coronation of said executive)and the House of reps and the senate. So they can jam thru anything they want-and do.The few dozen dems who voted with the scumbags did what they thought they had to do for their constituents, shame is that the dems never even are allowed a vote on any of OUR bills. So yea pox on some dems but the damage being done by this congress is gonna be felt by my kids'kids

11. He has been quoted in Congress by Democrats...and I think he is in hot
water with the thugs...so maybe it was a little CYA for him.

I like what he says about outsourcing.

13. Maybe Lou's a Naderite.
That's their usual strategy--blame the Democrats for everything that's wrong with the world while letting the Republicans off the hook.
