WaPo on "Fahrenheit 9/11" -- Moses a "public figure"
Moses is a "public figure" qualified for comparison in this context?

"Americans have always formed impressions of public figures from the movies; think Oliver Stone's "JFK," Spike Lee's "Malcolm X," Charlton Heston's portrayal of Moses. This time is different because the subject is living, unfolding history, four months before an election."

I think these journalists just needed a third example to round out this paragraph. Lousy, lousy reporting, and worse editing.

Washington Post: "Fahrenheit 9/11" is a Red-Hot Ticket

1. They are grasping at straws to disparage
Moore and F9/11. Oh, they are trying to be creative about it too.

3. I don't think so.
The Washington Post?

I think it's just idiotic reporting.

4. Irritatingly stupid.
As if THE MEDIA doesn't FORM our IMPRESSIONS of public figures every fucking day! Oh, no, they just report the 'news.' GARBAGE!

Hey, Washington Post, guess what! I DON'T NEED MM's film to form MY impression of BUSH!! Despite EVERY ATTEMPT by the media to make this idiot in chief look presidential, he still comes across as a TOTAL IDIOT. Now, I don't have anything against idiots; every society has them. BUT THEY SHOULDN'T BE IN SENSITIVE NATIONAL SECURITY POSITIONS. Such people are inherently unstable. Moreover, the only reason this IDIOT ever got close to the Whitehouse is because THE MEDIA 'enhanced' the US population's IMPRESSION of him.

God, crap like this is just SO irritating!! :puke:

5. What about that sort of silly movie about 'Clinton'
that John Travolta did?

Patriot Colors or something like that?

6. "Primary Colors" was based on a novel
They probably didn't list that one because "the names were changed to protect the innocent."
