An embedded reporter tells the story of the day a 12 year old sheperd boy in Afghanistan was shot.

Very sad story to read, especially for parents.

I saw the story on CNN either yesterday or Tuesday morning. Yes, it was very sad. They showed the boy lying on his stomach with his eyes wide open like he was in shock from being shot.

This is a sad story but what is not being said the boy alive and being treated. I am not making light of what happened, it is serious, and needs to be looked into. I am glad the boy survived.
