Question about Kerry fundraising |
|
I know that once Kerry accepts the nomination, he cannot raise anymore money. However, can he still spend money he raised prior to his acceptance?
If he can still spend, then we should all give him $50 or so the day before he accepts. That way he will have a few million to help even things out.

1. The DNC can spend money on ads after the convention. |

2. I understand that, but |

If he still has $20 million from his primary campaign, can he spend it during August or does he have to spend it all prior to the convention?

But I just sent him another $50. I made my first donation when Howard Dean dropped out of the race and Kerry looked like the most likely candidate.

I did the same thing. The day after the Texas primary, in which I voted for Dean, I donated to Kerry.
