1. Is another theater showing it in your area? |
|
If so, go see it there. If a bunch of theaters sell out this weekend, more theaters will be added. If there are no others, just hope. You could try sending something to michaelmoore.com, but I'm sure they are really busy right now.
Of coarse, they might not have enough prints, but I doubt that is the case.

4. It is going to make a lot of money this weekend |
|
That should allow them to put it in 200+ more theaters next weekend. Hopefully, their film guy is getting his voice heard and they will get a copy.
So, 30 miles might be worth it. The more money this thing brings in, the more theaters will get it.

The "small towns" where F 9/11 are all basically suburbs of a bigger city. For right now, it looks like it's pretty much playing cities of some size for the first week. They plan on adding theaters (and paying for more prints) in the following weeks. So you may not have it starting this weekend, but you may get it for July 4th weekend.

6. My small very republican town |
|
is 120 miles from the nearest large city. So many people have called the theater asking for he movie, that they did a 180 and decided to offer it. I just bought 16 tickets for a f911 party I am throwing tomorrow nite. I predict sellout shows.

Seriously, I think everyone, both parties should see it. They may not agree with everything, but it certainly brings up issues that should be discussed.

7. Email from my local theatre....... |
|
>>We would love to get it, unfortuantely the release is going to be limited to around a 1000 screens. This oushes smaller venues out or forces them to accept contracts that are generally too long for the market. I will be trying to get it 'after the break' probably in late July/Aug I will add you to our mailing list so you will be informed of upcoming events.<<
