I have been trying to save the ad. I now have a CD/DVD writer and would like to share it with some friends who don't have computers.

Is there a trick to it?

Haven't Kerry's ads all been saccharine sweet? Doesn't seem pessimistic or angry if you ask me.

It made me angry because he's going down the namby pamby road, but whatever works...

Even the sappy bit at the end that looks as queasy as the motivational videos from Donnie Darko will work against Bush*!

Hahahaha this is great! They're spending their millions spreading our message! How can they think that people will look at this and not have a bunch of them think "gee, he must be doing real bad to make people that angry"?

Bahahahaha!

This one will go down in history!

Was that ever figured out?

I'm wondering if he/she knows that they're using pieces of his work in this ad.

And if he/she DOES know, and APPROVED it... well, then it kinda sheds some new light on RW attacks on MoveOn, doesn't it.

22. and what a complete lie, "video clip of MoveOn.Org ad"
a fucking ENTRY in a moveon contest that was quickly removed.

And if it WAS a MoveOn.Org ad, who gave them the right to use a piece of it?

Since it wasn't... who did?

Something stinks here.

And the trail for that ad probably leads back to Rove.

25. read the rest of the site, it is fucking hilarious
they jump from economic recovery to the 2nd annual pResidents day. Laura doesn't do a thing but announce that two days ago there was a callin that nobody noticed. If this is what the other side believes in, something is seriously wrong with this country. If they think this website is somehow the real deal, they are very much in the freaking hole. Jeez, my grandson could have put together something more professional than this. BTW, who could expect no more than shouting about how America is getting screwed? If you don't shout you won't be heard.

and I for one believe they picked some of the best quotes ever. This is an awesome commercial for Demcratic candidates as it shows Bush really is out of touch. He thinks everything is hunkydorey when soldiers are dying every day in Iraq/Afghanistan.

34. actually
it looks like that used anti-bush moveon.org clip, so it is sort of a trap, but the point is that moveone.org is not affiliated with kerry, while there is an ad that is approved by bush that shows hitler in it. i hope they run it on television, i don't know what the hell rove is doing here, but i think it will backfire on them in the end

38. I like this on the front page of the site
President Bush’s defense budget will fulfill which of these goals?

Increase pay for our servicemen and women
Continue to eliminate inadequate military housing
Provide the next generation of weapons to assist our troops in the field
All of the above

No mention of building adequate military housing - just of eliminating inadequate housing. I guess they'll live in tents for while?

42. The irony of the Hitler imagery
Moveon.org was castigated not too long ago from an entry in its Bush in 30 Seconds contest that compared the Shrub to Hitler. Where's the media outrage about this ad?

The strangest image from this Bush commercial is the image of Hitler doing his salute followed immediately by Bush in the same pose.

Hopefully it will be clear to folks who the real enemy is when this ad gets aired. I don't even know what the ad is trying to prove. By airing the passionate comments from the dems, Bushco is helping to get those important messages out there.

And, we all know that when you accuse someone of being Hitler or a nazi you've already conceded defeat in your argument.
