2. Why do people continue to put F 9/11 and The Passion into the same
Edited on Thu Jun-24-04 06:47 PM by noahmijo
sentence as if you can compare them?

I'm sorry but to some of us The Passion represents NOTHING of what the Conservatives preach today despite that it is seen as their darling movie.

If the likes of Bush and Cheney actually followed what The Passion preaches then we wouldn't be at war and they'd be the first to start donating to charities that help the poor. A movie that shows Jesus telling his disciples that loving only those who love you is not worth as much as loving those who hate you hardly spells out what the neo-cons agenda is.

I will admit though one viewing was enough for me, I won't be buying the DVD like I usually do with movies I like

3. Is it opening on enough screens to challenge
The Passion? Successful movies play on a lot of screens. I think here in Ok it will only be playing on a handful of screens. Granted we aren't a large state, but my small town had it on 2 screens for several weeks. F 9/11 probably won't be playing on enough screens to make that kind of money. Why just compare it to The Passion? How will it do vs. Shrek? They are both about Ogres right?
