Has anyone run into trouble going to see F 911?

You know, pickets, protesters, disrupters during the film? Just sorta curious... I have tickets to go see it at about 1pm, and I'm excited beyond BELIEF, but nervous as SHIT for some reason...

7. About an hour ago, I stopped at the theater to buy a ticket

and there were news trucks there but the parking lot was not full. However, no protestors.

The ticket salesman told me that the movie is doing very well.

I'm going to catch the 5 p.m. showing, and wanted to make sure that I had a ticket. The theater is only five miles away from my job.

2. Leaving in about 10 minutes to see it

It's showing at a hotel/casino with a movie theater attached. NOBODY will be stupid enough to make waves with casino security close at hand, so I'm expecting a great experience. I will be back to check in after I'm home. :)

3. nobody but nice people at the midnight showing in DC last nite

in georgetown. It was great, and people lingered outside the theater talking. It was a site to behold.

Could have done without the 20+ minutes (I kid you not!) of commercials and previews. oy

4. They put up road blocks and police check points here in NC

I was planning to go this morning but we're on flood watch and I don't have comprehensive insurance on my car so I will have to wait. It was really coming down but has stopped now that my plans have changed. :-(

It was brutal. Fists flying, shoving pushing yelling at each other. Fighting to get the aisle seats....


Okay, okay. Just kidding. I'm going tonite to a small theater in a rural area. I suspect it'll be kind of chaotic, but in a non-political way.

We're leaving in a hour to stand in line for tickets in Sacramento. The show doesn't open for about three hours. Hope we see some freeps there.

13. Only problem here is it is totally sold out

I went by the Lincoln Center where they have it on at least 4 screens and people were lined up trying to by tickets for the weekend. 3 people with clipboards trying to sign up new voters. I guess that makes Michael Moore "a sell out" (yuk yuk).
