The HYPOCRISY Of Ron Reagan, Jr. (Accuses GOP of "Homophobia" When He Acted Homophobic On TV)
Self | June 25, 2004 | PJ-Comix

Did anybody else see Ron Reagan, Jr. yesterday on the tube accusing Republicans of being "homophobia" (and being racist)? The definition of "homophobia" is fear of homosexuals. Well, guess who acted complete TERRIFIED of homosexuals on NATIONAL TELIVISION? None other that Ron Reagan, Jr. himself.

It happened during his short lived Ron Reagan Show on TV in the late 1980s. It was a talk show but the one episode that really stands out in my memory is the time the topic was about gay people. Right in the middle of the show some gay folks started accusing Ron Reagan, Jr. himself of being gay and the previously calm host went absolutely BERSERK! He started screeching about what a slur it is to accuse him of being gay and the show went downhill from there. It was AMAZING to watch. I think the Ron Reagan Show lasted only a few more episodes after that broadcast but that one show pretty much ended Ron Reagan's talk show career at that point.

Does anybody else remember that incident? Also is it possible to get a transcript of that show? The video must exist somewhere out there and, believe me, it is AMAZING to watch Ron Reagan, Jr. go into a HOMOPHOBIC overdrive of ranting and raving. And it demonstrates his complete HYPOCRISY. Most people would have laughed or shrugged off the charge of being gay. Not Ron Reagan, Jr. He went angrily berserk in his denial of being a homo...thus demonstrating a severe case of HOMOPHOBIA.

PLEASE!!! If someone out there can find a transcript or the video of this broadcast, please post it here. It completely shows was a hypocrite Ron Reagan, Jr. is. Oh, and thank God this country does not have a monarchy type of government if you know what I mean.

Ron is not a junior - different middle name.

There's only one Ronald W. Reagan!

"A hypocritical leftist? I've never heard of such a thing."

That's because it's just redundant

I remember Michael Stipe of REM being adamant about not being gay.

Not too long before he revealed that he was indeed a flamer, and was living with "the most wonderful man."

Go figure.

More commonly folks feel uncomfortable around gays but not fearful. A good (and HILARIOUS) example of this was in Anger Management when Dave Buzznik was forced by his shrink to sit in the back seat of his car with a transvestite. No fear but lots of discomfort.

Caught a small amount of the FAG on Larry king Live, but not on CNN, but on E. on cable. They were re-airing that particular show. Strange, though, I have never seen E(entertainment tonight) air a Larry King episode before. I think the RAT establishment has gone plum LOCO after W!!

Ron Reagan going BERSERK on national TV over being accused of being gay was an incredible TV moment. And sure demonstrates his utter HYPOCRISY. Who is it that is really AFRAID of gays? Ron Reagan if you watched that show.

Why anyone cares what this guy thinks is beyond understanding. His poor relationship with his father is being exploited by those that hated President Reagan.

The fact this boy is letting it happen, actually helping, disgusts me to no end.

I wouldn't care what he thinks but he doesn't keep it to himself. He is accusing, on national TV, Republicans of being HOMOPHOBIC when the most extreme example of Homophobia ever demonstrated on TV was by....Ron Reagan himself.

Is there some way to contact Sean Hannity about this? I'm sure he could track down that video of Ron Reagan demonstrating extreme HOMOPHOBIA on his own TV show in the late 1980s. It was an INCREDIBLE TV moment. Ron Reagan just went absolutely BERSERK after the gays on the show accused him of being gay.

Curiously, Janeane Garofalo thinks it's a compliment to be mistaken for a homosexual:
Which is fine—I take it as a compliment when people think I’m gay or Jewish, because I feel they’re giving me credit for being intellectual and enlightened. ....

Yeah, it just makes me feel like somehow I’m doing something right if people think I’m a liberal Jewish lesbian. It makes me feel like, “Oh, my God, that’s so highbrow!” complete nauseating interview, The Advocate.

Lemme see. Ron's dad was President. His Dads Vice President had a son. That guy became President. Ron did not.

Could Ron be into a little envy here, maybe jealous, possibly thinks he should be a little higher on the totem pole?

There was a lot of talk about Ron Reagan being gay. My friends and I got a real surprise when he got married. You need to find pictures of him dancing, you will see why we thought he was gay. This unattractive son of our beloved president was jumping around on stage in a ballet, I am so sure that one time he was in a pink outfit. Please someone post pictures. Though why bother, Ron Reagan is irrevelent.

That would definitely be a good thing to air (footage of the berserko moment) before letting Little Ronnie fade off into our collective forgetfulness.

So irrelevant, that they obsess over whether he's gay or not. I get the feeling that their heads are about to explode.
