REMINDER: The Washington Post is SITTING on 1000 torture photos
Edited on Fri Jun-25-04 12:42 PM by jackstraw45
Just in case you've forgotten.

The Corporate Media HAS over 1000 torture photos. And they are sitting on them and hoping you forget what this administration has done/is doing.

Graphic or not, embarassing or not - these photos are truth. They are ugly but that doesn't mean they should be hidden.

Perhaps we should ask their ombudsman.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/opinion/columns/ombudsman/

Michael Getler is the ombudsman for The Washington Post. Before taking on this position in November 2000, he served as executive editor of the International Herald Tribune from 1996 until 2000. He can be reached at (202) 334-7582 or by e-mail at ombudsman@washpost.com, or c/o The Washington Post, 1150 15th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C., 20071.

1. LEAK! There has to be a Post staffer with access and a conscience
If the post won't print them, leak 'em to independent media or bloggers.

Edited on Fri Jun-25-04 12:35 PM by msmcghee
. . a permanent photography exhibit that moves every month to a new city in the US to remind us and future generations of what can happen when Americans vote with their heads up their asses.

7. Hiding the Child Rape Photos
"For the Good of the country"

And yes, they do hate America and love themselves and the Tyrant who treats them like the Whores they are.

I thionk they know deep in their hearts they DESERVE to be treated like that.

But WE DON'T.

8. Of course, as you know, not all photos of child rape
And if there are over 950 photos of children being raped...well, I don't know what to say.

There is NO excuse for the Washington Post to be sitting on these photos unless the White House is TELLING them to.

Corporate Media strikes once again....

10. I doubt they're ALL Child Rape Photos
I think the Imperial Family just put their foot down. Naturally the Pravda Whores and their Bushevik Owners scurried happily under a rock.

Remember when America was Free?

5. Stipulation
If BA, Rush, Hannity, et al agree to stipulate that the photos represent torture and abuse, not hazing or coersion, then I see no need to have them out in public. Remember how members of congress reacted after seeing them...if they all were to step up and correct anyone who claims that awful things didn't happen, then we don't need the photos printed.

It may be, however, that the photos must be seen to get everyone on the same page.

Question: do we know if these are Abu Gareff photos or photos from other prisons? Because I think the photos would also have value if they were from another facility, disputing those who try to spin the abuses as limited.

11. The media should be FIGHTING to get these photos to expose the truth...
Edited on Fri Jun-25-04 01:39 PM by jackstraw45
No wait....they already have them.

The Washington Post DISGUSTS me for not doing an article on the CONTENT of these photos (even without releasing them).
