F9/11 at the Grand Lake Theatre in Oaktown
http://www.fotolog.net/grand_lake

Some of you have seen the marquee at the Grand Lake Theatre in Oakland. Of course, they're showing Fahrenheit 911 today. And theatre management has decided that because movie ratings are voluntary, they're allowing 13 - 17 year-olds to see the movie. There's a sign in the window to that effect.

:yourock: Grand Lake Theatre!

4. I will, too
I won't be going tonight, though. I hate lines, and my arthritic knees can't take standing for that long. I'll probably catch a matinee next week.

5. I think I know the coffee house
I can't think of the name, though. A family-owned business on Grand Avenue.

6. would that be the coffee mill?
about two blocks up grand from the grand lake theater.

wife & going to the grand lake on sunday to catch F911, if we can.

I love that theater. I love the owner and the messages he's been puttin on the marqee facing the freeway. very political. I also like the fact that the theater is used for religous services on sunday morning. its a real asset to our town. its my wife & my first choice movie house.
