I like the "F911" reports as they come in from across the country |
|
Each and every one is of interest, and moving to me. It's a feeling similar to one I had volunteering for Wes Clark, during an international call hook-up from Little Rock. One by one, the locations signed on around the world, amazingly -- "This is Paris," "Tokyo signing in," "Rio is on the line," "This is Oxford University, Group 2, at the General's college, signing on." There was the sense of so many people, in so many places, working toward the same goal (which was not so much the election of Wes Clark, of course, as the restoration of our country, as the Founders envisioned.) Hope increased with every call. Hope increases now with every report of a full theatre in Los Angeles, or fifty people in Texas -- cursing, crying, standing and cheering, together.

I'll go home tonight (since I can't get tickets) and watch "Bob Roberts" again, I guess.

4. what i like is the fact that at least 50% of the threads are on this topic |

that really reduces the frustration of wasting time opening an in-appropriately titled thread
