Drip, Drip, Drip, Drip, Drip, Drip, Drip. |
|
Beautiful. I don't think F 9/11 is the end of the Bush regime. No more than the NY Post Headline "Bush Knew;" no more than the 9/11 panel; no more than Richard Clarke's testimony; no more than every DUer's political fantasy. It's just another drip before th damn bursts. I've said it before: the drip, drip is what it's going to take to put these bastards away.
F 9/11 is a huge commercial drip. But it will be a drip, nonetheless. The whores who attempt to discredit it are only trying to profit from its buzz (a la Jeff Greenfield). But they only help to push the drip along. The convention is only a month away. How about a VP selection within the next two weeks? Drip. How about an indictment or two, or even an announcement that there will be no indictments but that there should be reprimands? Drip. How about the protests in New York at the GOP convention--hint, hint? Drip. Moore's film was timed beautifully. BEAUTIFULLY. It doesn't need to last until November. It just needs to last until the indictments or non-indictments are announced. And if that fails, it only needs to last until our Veep is announced. Then we have the convention. Then Kerry gets a bump. Drip, drip, drip.
It's a thing of beauty, people. Take a night or two to rejoice.

The attention span of our idiot populace? Hah. I'd bet my daughter's college fund against the attention span of the average American citizen. Would you not?

Not everything will happen as fast as Jack Ryan's demise! Very good point, grendelsuncle.

7. Ryan generated some bad Karma with the camera guy following Obama. |
|
So, he reaped what he sowed.
I'm not so sure that sex lives determine one's fitness for office, though. I don't care what gets somebody's rocks off, as long as nobody gets hurt. The fact that 7 of 9 didn't want to do it and he insisted is what I find troubling, not the swing club scene itself.

3. That film is not a drip. |

It's like somebody dumped a bucket of water on your head. I wish that some of the churches would show that movie instead of having Sunday Service.

6. The film itself is not a drip. |

Nor was any of the other items I listed. But it will have the effect of a drip (a large drip). But I like drips. Anyone who has seen a stalagtite or stalagmite knows where I'm coming from.

but can't we at least say the movie has eroded the dam in a manner to which it allows "accelerated" drips ? ;)

I love a man/woman who will run with any given metaphor.
But we must give it up to all of those drips that have preceded this one. Those are some long, hard fought drips.
To Du: :toast: the biggest drip of them all.
Yes, I know, I'm a turd.

10. Ignore the drip, just ignore it. |
|
That's the strategy. Ignore it long enough, and it will flood your basement.
And then comes the DVD. Let's hope for a quick release.

13. "a steady trick"? Is that like a prostitute with three legs? |
|
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Did you mean, a steady tick (a reference to time)?
