394,228th F911 Thread: A Suggestion.

Just saw it today. I absolutely loved it, of course. I laughed, I cried... But this is not a review of the film because (a) there have been many wonderful reviews here already and (b) most of you have seen it already or will be seeing it soon.

What I would like to share is this: I would like to suggest that everybody here take it upon themselves, especially those of you who live in swing states, to take someone to see this movie who isn't already anti-Bush. Find that conservative sister-in-law, that fence-straddling co-worker, that freeper college roommate with whom you've been having email flame wars for years...and make a date with him or her to go see this movie.

Because I just don't see how ANYBODY, after seeing this film, could pull the lever for George W. Bush in November. It's devastating. Let's help make sure that Michael Moore isn't just preaching to the converted. MM hopes that this movie will assist in taking down Bush. I think one of the best ways we can say THANK YOU to Mr. Moore would be by helping his movie accomplish just that.

After all, movie or no movie, you and I and everyone reading this already hated Bush, right? As wonderful as the piece is, F911 didn't change any of our minds about this administration...

So take a conservative (or an "undecided") to F911! You never know - it could make the difference come November!
