5. That should be the second official act
The first should be demanding Smirk and co. stand trial for treason.

8. Great ideas!! Then he could........
Work to Repeal the Patriot Act and put something "sane" in its place.

Release all non-violent low level drug offenders from prison....
expunge their records and address the failed drug war and its impact
on our society. Stop the waste! Billion$ are wasted that could be used for addiction treatment, roads, health care, education.............

10. This would be nice, but reinstituting the Fairness Doctrine would be
nicer. If it were me, that's the first thing I'd do after I'd given my innaugural address. By executive order. And I'd be trying to figure out how to make it as irrevocable as possible.

11. His 1st act should be to imprison BushCo under the Patriot Act
as terrorists. Hold them without bringing charges, without legal council, and for an indeterminate length of time.

Perhaps subject them to a little taste of "hazing rituals."

12. New 9/11 commission ...

The democrats would have to take the gloves off. The Republicans have been fighting with guns for years and the Democrats keep bringing knives.

We don't have to LIE like they do. We only need to point out all of their misconduct.

BTW, about the pardon amendment. There should be a provision allowing Congress to nullify a presidential pardon with a 60% vote. It should also disallow pardons 2 weeks before the election until inaugaration. That would get rid of the "midnight pardons". A president would have to face the voting public for his pardons.

14. No.
Issuing arrest warrants for the whole fucking RNC and Bush administration should be his first act. As soon as he says "so help me God..." at his innagural.

15. Indict Ken Starr!!!!

For prosecutorial misconduct during the Clinton investigations. They need to CLEAR Clinton's name. All the thugs still claim to myths that he was a drug smuggler, embezzler and a murderer. Prosecuting Starr for all his dirty smear tactics would be the PERFECT way to force this into the limelight.

IF the Democrats take back both houses of Congress, they should impeach Rehnquist for his complicity and involvement in replacing the indpendent Robert Fisk with the inexperienced party operator Ken Starr.

I would impeach Scalia for direct violations of the first amendment.

Clarence Thomas DESERVES to be impeached for being a dumbass partisan tool. He DESERVES to be impeached for not doing his job. Unfortunately, those don't rise to high crimes and misdemeanors.

The Republicans are trying to recreate the courts that struck down all the Roosevelt reforms. People keep saying it was WWII that brought the economy back to life. That was part of it. But a bigger part was all those money whore Supremes dying off.

Unlike before, they haven't made the mistake of enbenching judges with good credentials and qualifications. That would make them OLD. They are appointing the most whorish dumbist young justices they can find. That will perpetuate the neo-con ignorance on the federal benches for MUCH longer.

If the American peopel really DO wakeup and we get a super majority in the presidency and Congress. It may be necessary to go on a spurt of impeaching justices who are just plain unaccomplished and unqualified. One need only look at their record to make sure their interpretations of the law is consistent with their stated judicial philosophy.

In that respect, the Florida 5 Supremes could probably ALL be impeached. They were all "states rights" judges but ruled for federal supremacy in deciding how to cast Florida's electoral vote.

orders.

I would really like to see what is in the papers of a couple of previous administrations.

I would really like to quit sending our tax money to crooked companies who incorporate outside of the US.

I would really like to see science give a position of prominence with regard to scientific problems.

I would really like money released to health organizations that provide prenatal services to the poor.

I would really like to see our environment respected.

I would really like to see our citizens treated with all rights accorded to citizens.

I would really like to see transparency in government.

I would really like...Oh, you get the idea.

And these can be accomplished by simple reversals.

In fact, I wish they would have a majority of these EO's rewritten for Kerry to sign immediately after his oath of office while he is still on the dais.

to rescind the Mexico City Policy which was institued by Ronnie Raygun in 1984. Finally, we have a guy who is going to go pick up where Carter left off and try and undo the damage in between!
He can award Moore second!

19. what John Kerry himself said
he said his first act would be to overturn some mexico city policy bush put in place . this policy denies funds to organizations which provide information or services for abortions. and kerry would overturn this allowing many organizations which provide many other things in addition to information and services on abortion to recieve federal funds around the world.
