At what point do we stop being the "hate America crowd"?? |
|
This has probably been said before, but I feel the need to say this again. All we hear is this dribble from the RW'ers that we all "hate America" and should just "move to France". At what point does our dissent of *'s practices move from being speech that is "anti-American" to being actually "American". Does this day happen when *'s approval numbers drop under 50%? Will then all the talking points of republicans become "anti-American"? Is being "anti-American" so relative now days that what is "anti-American" one day can truly be "American" then next? Possibly it just isn't this relative, just because the administration is Republican doesn't mean that Republicans dictate what is American and what is not. Maybe we should all look deep into the past and not ask "what would Jesus do", but ask "what would our forefathers do?" I feel that is exactly what I am doing when I question the practices of Bush. Questioning the misdirected policies of a president can never be "anti-American" but ALWAYS "American". Just needed to rant...
