My Suggestion to the freak repukes who complain about F-9/11 |
|
If they don't like the movie and think it's unfair they can make a documentary about the many successes of the shrub administration. I mean that's the free market isn't it? But, I guess what makes it unfair is, Moore had to cut a bunch of stuff out. How do you make a 120 minute movie on the successes of shrubbie? Any ideas?

5. There is, it's called, Michael Moore Hates America. |
|
Because obviously the freepers have NOTHING BETTER TO DO than bash Michael Moore. Don't comment on how to improve things, no just bash on Michael Moore. Maybe we should make a film. Rush Limbaugh hates America. That would be AWESOME. http://www.michaelmoorehatesamerica.com/

6. How silly of the RW'ers... |
|
they should realize that the BEST way to love America is to rid it of GW *bush and his retinue of vermin as soon as possible. Mr. Moore has made a substantial contribution to this cause. ;-)

8. I just checked that out... |

It continues to amaze me that the RW and the Freepers continue to pull this "If you hate Bush, you hate America" crap. In none of Michael's films does he ever say that he hates America, and in fact in numerous interviews says he probably loves this country more than most other Americans, and I'm inclined to agree with him: Because of his efforts to expose the assh*les who are creating or defending policies, the existence of which does nothing more than line their pockets while getting Americans (and a host of other nationalities) killed, he is striving to make America a better place, and this reality will never be understood by the right-wing pukes who are deaf and blind to any faults of their "leaders."
What I did find interesting was that in the trailers for his film, Wilson used the clips showing Penn Gillette saying that documentaries are almost always lies because there is always going to be editing involved, but I'm sure he was using that as a way of pointing a finger at Michael Moore and saying, "See? Penn Gillette says Moore lies also." At the same time, however, Wilson is too stupid to realize that it makes his anti-Moore film suspect as well.
It's funny this whole issue came up (about a counter argument to Moore's film), because I got into the exact same discussion with a RW buddy of mine, and I said the same thing to him: "There is nothing that says the RW can't make a film also. If there is a positive message in this whole mess, they are more than free to make a film about it and show it." At that point, though, he got really quiet, because I suspect that he couldn't think of anything positive to say about the Iraq situation, and he's smart enough to know that any RW film would essentially be about trying to discredit Moore personally, because his facts are too tight to dick with.

I don't know. That would be impossible.
Most freepers and cons, who blast the movie, haven't and won't see it. Those that have seem to pick on the tone, editing, and start throwing around the "L" word. All emotional bullshit designed to discredit at an emotional level. You know, "Attack the messenger" saying.
My response to critics are, "What facts do you refute and list your sources". Mr. Moore certainly does. Documented facts will beat blind emotionalism every time...at least for the thinking person.
I plan to see it soon!!

9. I'm all in favor of RWers making their own movie |

And I won't even stand in their way.
As a matter of fact, I hope they do.
After all, there just isn't enough comedy in the world.

10. All right Bush supporters state your case! |
|
I am waiting for a single Bush supporter to come out with a logical argument against this film (other than "Michael Moore hates America," "This movie is anti-Bush" duh). My request of conservatives: You have problems with this film - fine, what parts do you see are lies? Then go through and document the truth. Hell, nothing in this film was news to any of us here. We have been talking about all of this for some time. Anyone who as read "The Best Democracy Money Can Buy," or "Worse Than Watergate," or Richard Clarke's book, or any of the other books on this administration has known this stuff. You don't have to be a private detective to find the documentation to back up the movie. The problem is, the people who actually think this film is full of lies (1)haven't seen it, (2)get all their news from Faux and similar sources and so they don't know real news when it lands in their lap, (3)they don't WANT to know the truth, because they can't handle it. They have their own perception of the universe that includes Republicans are the good guys and Democrats want to take away their hard earned money and give it to people who don't work. This is what it all boils down to. They think that their money is safer with Republicans, and their money is so dear to them that they are willing to give up their freedom and liberty to protect those green slips of paper that are the real god in this country of ours.
