past week?" I told them that I had not seen a movie this week--Mrs. Cat and I are going to F 9/11 at 4:30 today--and the guy thanked me and let me go.

The call came from some research group, but I didn't catch the name. The number they called from was 559-261-1817. They called at 12:19pm.

Did anyone else get a call like this? Very odd.

Edit: Sorry! The number was 559-261-1817

2. That number won't accept incoming calls.
I'm not tinfoiling my head or anything. I just wonder who/why this polling is going on. I suspect market research...

3. Maybe trying to determine
reactions to F-911. Both parties must be polling.

5. 555 is not an area code. You won't be able to return that
if that is the number that showed up on the caller ID.

6. I would assume it is a political poll.
They want to know if they should worry about damage control so they conduct a poll to try to determine for themselves the number of people that have seen the movie. If you are living in a key state, that would make sense, because that is where they will consider it important info. I never answer telephone polls.

They may think that the only people seeing F911 are the radical lefties and they want to be sure by conducting the poll.

That could be it.
