3. Tell us about your
experience when you get back.
Saw in ABQ on Friday. Intersting the reactions of several in the audience who hadn't a clue it was so bad beforehand.

4. you know i will!
i've been dying to hear about how the audience reacted to the film, but sadly, i can't find much of that here. i will be taking mental notes on the entire experience.

For reaction here on DU, you may have to dig back a little to posts made Friday night and yesterday.

9. We went Friday....
I took my wife and daughter Friday to a sold out crowd in Grand Rapids Michigan..... the most amazing thing.... Of over 800 in the theater... only one person got up during the showing. Not one person left for more popcorn or pop... not one person left to use the bathroom... the one older lady that did get up and leave it was three quarters through and I didn't see her come back. I don't think she came alone...so she may have just stood on the sideline instead of trying to get back to her seat which was in the middle of the theater. We are going again with my other daughter and a friend tonight. It was AWESOME....

11. Same here in Sarasota FL
Packed theater, mixed crowd. One or two left, maybe for a quick trip to the restrooms, but most people stayed throughout. After we left the theater, we were greeted by hundreds of people on the outside waiting to get in. Movie was intense and filled with so much emotion, I can't decifer any of it yet. Powerful message. Mike is a genius, and extremely brave.

12. Here's how it was at the Tampa theater:
The showing was sold out and so was the show after the 4:15 showing. I bought 5 tickets Friday for today's show, so I was set to go. The energy was great before the show, people talking, the man next to me nice and convivial. A great diversity as well, old, young, black, Hispanic, white, just a great mix, it made me proud to be an American to be in such a cultural diverse setting all for the same purpose, the truth.

My favorite part was when Katherine Harris came up on the screen everyone hissed..yes...HISSED...LOL...it was great. Of course, Floridians still can't stand the liar.

I had NO idea that not ONE senator objected for GORE...I can't believe Senator Bob Grahm didn't object or how about Senator Kennedy on Al Gores behalf? It made no sense to me.

My favorite part was the "Coalition of the Willing," how funny was that!

Our tickets were checked on the way in to make sure we were seeing the movie we paid for, the girl checking them was actually LOOKING and verifying the tickets. People clapped throughout the show in different areas. Everyone clapped when the soldier stated that Dumbsfield should resign! Everyone gasped when the soldier who died had his last two weeks deducted on his last paycheck because he died in action. How hideous. Not one protester, not one person made a comment against the movie.

It was a great experience, there was security guards all over the place, but that was fine with me. After seeing the movie and the fact that Homeland Security is serious business (sarcasm inserted) I felt MUCH safer knowing security was there to protect me from the truth.

This movie should be a requirement for all college kids, especially, the poor kids who think that serving in the arm services is a ticket to an education...it's hard to learn when you're dead.

Excellent show, well done, and some great Michael Moore moments that will make you laugh if you're familiar with his movies. I give it an A+

14. out here in ill burbs (very publican area)
my congressman is Denny Hastert. The house was about 3/4 full but there were several multiplexes showing it in the area. I was happy to seem many more kids then I expected. That is very encouraging to me.
