Just as important as getting Kerry elected
We need to toss the GOP from the house and the senate.

When do THOSE elections come up?

3. forgive for I have become mental this morning
As soon as I posted this I realized my error and rushed back.

The last (and first) time I voted was the 2000 election and I totally forgot the experience and if or whether or not the senate elections fall on the same day.

How long is a senator's term? is it 4 years also?

4. Senate terms are 6 years.
One-third of the Senate is up for re-election this year.

2. We will retake both in November
All House seats are up then and we will win the 11 that we need for Dems to take control.

As for the Senate, it will take only 3 GOP defeats for Dems to control that side of Congress.

All we need to do is work nonstop till then and donate a few dollars to any candidates that we can.

7. In Missouri, I'm hoping Nancy Farmer will.......................
beat the bloated, gas-bag that is Kit Bond.

I'll be voting for her. In fact, in November, I'll be voting a straight Democratic ticket.

8. Unfortunately it's not all that practical
A Kerry win is very much within our grasp, although it will be difficult. Due to Gerrymandering we don't have much of a shot at the House in November. The senate is somewhat up for grabs but much less so because of 5 retiring southern democratic senators all in southern states that went to Bush last time.
