What to do if you're a president reading to kids and disaster strikes |
|

Okay this is maybe just what I would've done.
::after hearing the news that terrorists have destroyed a major landmark like the WTC:::
As calmly as possible say
"kids Mr. or Mrs X (insert teacher's last name where X is) is going to finish reading this to you okay? part of being the president means you have to be ready to take care of something important at any given moment. Study hard and listen to your teacher okay? bye bye!"
::leave the room immeditely::: ::: follow aide out to the hall:::
I want to know who, what, when, why and I want these answers NOW.

2. It's my understanding that |

he already knew about the first plane hitting the WTC before he went into that classroom. He learned about the second one while there and continued to just sit and listen to the kids.
He should never have gone in, in the first place, and the school probably should have been evacuated, in case it was a target, since it was well known in advance that Bush would be there.
