Any media types gushing IN FAVOR OF F911?
Have you heard of anyone in the major media applauding F911 with the fervor that the wingnuts are bashing it? You you would think there would be at least one person somewhere in the Big Media who would be saying, "Jeez, how did we ever let this guy into the White House? How soon can we start the impeachment?". Looking for an anti-Hitchens or anti-O'Really somewhere in the corporate media.

2. I seem to recall a DUer posting
last week about a Fox columnist, Roger Friedman (I believe that was the name) giving it a rave review and saying that it should be required viewing for every adult American. He said the footage of Shrub looking bewildered in the elementary classroom right after being told the nation was under attack alone was worth seeing it. And this was a FOX columnist, no less.

But you're right, the mainstream media should be howling for impeachment now after seeing the movie. I think after seeing their own complicity and refusal to cover the real stories and ask the right, hard questions may be too much for them to handle, though. Besides, a lot of them are too busy raking Clinton over the coals yet again for an indiscretion that turns out to be so much less than what Shrub has been doing these past few years as to be almost embarassing in its triviality.

At least Clinton's few lies didn't cost lives. And his so-called "sins" appear so trivial and meaningless next to what Shrub is doing that I simply cannot believe the media whores are still stuck on it. According to the movie, during Shrub's first eight months he was on vacation 42% of the time! He has got to be the laziest president ever!!!!!

3. The reviewers have been overwhelmingly positive
And Roger Ebert swings a lot more power in this country than Hitch the Snitch does

8. Didn't you love the reviews from Ebert and Roper?
I sure don't always agree with them but this was great! It's not a perfect movie but it is a powerful pastiche of the corruption of the bush family and the surrounding administration. My stomach turned and my heart ached while I watched it. Especially Wolfowitz spitting on his comb and scraping it through his hair before an interview.

4. how can they gush about being outed
none of them have done their jobs for almost 4 years why do you think matt laur and katie couric were so nasty to M Moore, his movie made them look like bush's cheerleaders instead of credible journalists.

5. Gene Shalit
was pretty positive about the film, the other day on the Today Show. I was shocked but pleased, this is a guy who could come up with a shitty review for Shindler's List without too much trouble if he had to... *snarkiness reigned in*

6. Newspaper movie reviewers have been gushing
Christopher Kelly of the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram NEVER gushes over ANY movie, EVER and he GUSHED for several columns (a very long movie review) about F911.

I was slack-jawed the whole time I read it. That just isn't like him. He was HIGHLY impressed.

11. Media Bigfoots too compromised to admit liking F9/11.
Ninty percent of the media Bigfoots who show up on TV everyday, rolled over and played lap dog for Bush in the lead-up to the war. This courage impaired crew is now in no position to admit that anything in Moore's movie is true.

Here is their problem -- that movie is first an indictment of Shrub, next an indictment of the Dem establishment who went along with Shrub, and finally an indictment of the media who got the story oh so wrong.

Most of them will never see the movie -- they are too embarrassed to go.

12. Actually, some of them in NYC DID go.
I have no idea how to find the link now out of the gazillion F911 threads here, but it was in an article that was posted yesterday(?) that talked about all the celebs who showed up for the Wednesday premier in New York.

The most telling part of the article was near the end. The writer said that at the end of the movie, the audience jumped up and gave it a standing ovation -- EXCEPT for the "journalists".
