I think the War on Iraq may very well have opened the
floodgates for every country in the world to own nuclear weapons and the delivery systems to go with it.The warning signs are already there.Pakistan has supplied Uranium enrichment technology to Iran, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Libya and no one knows how many other countries. North Korea has the knowhow to build very accurate ICBM's and has shared this technology with Pakistan and Iran.It is only a matter of time when every Tom, Dick and Harry gets these technologies.

Who can blame these countries? They see the way the U.S. invaded Iraq on the pretext of owning WMD's while it caved in when China shot down one of its spy planes near Chinese waters. So, the message is clear: like a schoolyard bully, the U.S. will pick on you if you are weak and will deal with you if you are strong ( which simply means if you have nuclear weapons).

Does this make us all feel better?

2. I Blame Tom Clancey

The tools and material are out there and only a best-selling US author could have shown how easy is is for a third-world nation to fly a plane into a building for maximum effect or how to build a nuke under the desert sand.

Was it worth a multi-billion dollar war to make an asshole a few millions?
