A Very Ironic TidBit In F9/11, Did You Catch It?
Take a good look at the classroom scene. Look at the sign that's right behind Shrub's head. It says: "Reading Makes Our Country Strong". Yep. It sure does. Like reading the August 6 PDB report. If only Bush had read that instead of "My Pet Goat".

3. dmr- when you went to the site of the elementary school
were the photos of the president reading the book available? I tried to find them and there are photos with his arrival and his speech, but when I try links 9 and 10, they give me errors. Were there any photos of him sitting with the book on the school's website when you visited it?

4. No, not anymore. They show Bush* in the Media Room
but not in the classroom.

There are classroom pics with the teacher and students and a couple with Lt. Gov. Brogan, but no Bush*.

When I looked at this site more than a year ago, they did have pics of him in the classroom, so that's probably why the other two pages come up as an error.

For some reason today, I saved that whole visit on my hard drive. I can't explain why. I spent more time today trying to find that article I referred to in that thread, but damn, I cannot find it. It was probably sanitized, just like Bush's* pics were sanitized from the school site.

5. But they were there when you first visited the site a year ago, eh?
This administration sanitizes everything don't they. Pull those pictures so they can try to accuse MMoore that he created the footage or something just as stupid as that. What a bunch of slim.

Thanks for the info -- can't believe that they had the school remove those photos. They are so damned low.

2. yes - that was so cool to see it over his shoulder - ironic
considering his use of the propaganda banners we all know and are sick of.

6. It was a propaganda banner
I've heard others on DU saying that the President's staff covered up the bullentin board the kids had made for Bush's visit with their own contrived image of what a second grade bulletin board should look like, including that inane 'Reading makes our country great' sign.

Go straight over to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0361596/ , rate the film, and maybe even write a review for IMDB. Post on their message boards, too. Right now, there are a bunch of ignorant trolls holding court there who richly deserve refutation.
