Now we can declare Glorious Victory! Can we have a big Parade now?
Edited on Mon Jun-28-04 06:15 AM by mopaul
or am i naive still? haven't they been saying that iraq is now a free society? wasn't this whole thing called operation iraqi freedom? now everything will be swell, and shiny, and happy.

god bless george bush, and god bless america.

about 20,000 dead innnocent iraqis, about a thousand dead u.s. sons and daughters, about 4,000 of them blinded, disfigured, crippled, maimed, made impotent, shot up, burned, and maddened.

will there be another dramatic landing on an aircraft carrier to declare glorious victory, hitler style?

will bush boast about finally bringing peace to the middle east? finally restoring order to the chaotic region? will he use images of his glorious victory in his campaign ads? probably.

we have invaded a nation, slaughtererd babies and women and old men, shown the world that we like to torture suspects, and gained the whole world's hatred.

not bad. that's what i call a glorious victory.

1. They did this so Bush* wouldn't have to go there, mopaul.
No ceremony. No flags. No flowers. No banners.

Just a file folder handed over and a quick exit (as per the CREEP campaign calendar).

11. "Now we can forget all about that stupid fat man's stupid movie! Yaaaay!"
Watch how the news cycle deals with the success of Michael Moore's movie now that Bush* made his "surprise handover."

Mmm!... I wonder how many stories will be preempted because of this?
