3. Not with a gun pointed at their head and bushels of money
placed at the feet of the Iraqi leaders.

Great picture Paul, but 'ya have junior's brain too big.

A real sovereign nation should be able to ask us to leave. If the U.S. does not leave it is not a sovereign nation.

I guess the collaborators are dead meat without US protection.

US military to to guard Iraq PM after handover

BAGHDAD: The US military plans to guard Iraq's interim prime minister, Iyad Allawi, even after Wednesday's handover of power, as assassination threats against his government rise, the deputy commander of coalition forces told AFP.

...Already, US Special Forces have been detailed to protect Allawi.

He and electricity minister Ayham al-Samarrai were flanked by special forces soldiers on a visit to a power plant on Saturday.

8. Do you think the people in Japan voted in any one we did not want?
Plus how many troops do we still have in that country? Bases left in these countries feeds the Empire we have built for our selfs. Is not the US building a base to stay in in Iraq? We need the troops there to protect the corp. that have taking over the business in that country. If this country does not know that the rest of the world does.

9. Details. Details.
You durn liberals are always focusing on little details like sovereignty and occupation. Can't you just sing a few bars of "Iraq the Beautiful" and name your firstborn "Dubya" like a good patriot?
