They were all giddy and couldn't keep smiles from creeping onto their faces. The guy reporting from Baghdad on MSNBC had a gleeful smirk on his face the whole time. I had a feeling that they were trying to convince all of the insomniacs that the "hand over of full sovereignty" actually meant something.

5. Um, right. So they pulled all the troops out then?
Or is it that "special" kind of sovereignty when not only are you still occupied but the occupiers decide which set of laws the country uses?

Unfortunately, the U.S. is in this for the long haul now. No pulling out, with all that oil. The problem Buscho created, is the fact that a hundred million dollars a day of Middle Eastern crude, are still in the ground, and the U.S. can now, not allow a terrorist based theocracy to seize power, and get their hands on that kind of money. Shrub fucked up a very delicate balance six ways to Sunday, and all of us are going to have to pay for that now.

Our soldiers will still be coming home in bodybags, thanks to Bush.
