It seems to me the Constitution is only as good as the Supreme Court wishes it to be.

The American Legal System is also very much about how much money you have nowadays. This is one of the Reagan legacies.

On Edit: The American legal system was almost always mostly about money. The Warren Court started to change that, but you could hear as much bitching about that court as you hear about this one.
