F9/11 - weekend box office results

So, despite being played at less than 1/3 the number of theaters as the other top 10 movies, Farenheiht 9/11 was the highest grossing film this weekened. It also made four to five times as much money per theater as any other movie. Check out the full listing:

3. Perhaps greed will win.

At $25,000+ per theater, hopefully some of the other theater chains will give in and start showing the film. That's a lot of money to turn down. Hell, the theater I went to had to start showing it on a second screen just to keep up with the ticket sales. And I should point out that there were 3-4 other theaters in driving distance of me that were also showing the film, so it wasn't due to short supply.

It went up agianst such great movies as "White chicks" and "garfield" thats what they will say .
