PHOTO: Viceroy Bremer Slinking Out of Iraq.....
I wonder if he is sitting on a suitcase full of that Iraq relief money that is missing.......

U.S. administrator Paul Bremer lowers his sunglasses while waiting on a U.S. Air Force plane at Baghdad International Airport for his flight out of Iraq (news - web sites) June 28, 2004. The United States handed over sovereignty to an interim Iraqi government on Monday, formally ending a 14-month occupation two days earlier than expected to try to forestall guerrilla attacks. 3. WTF? So our occupation consists of only this guy?
...formally ending a 14-month occupation two days earlier than expected to try to forestall guerrilla attacks

Does that mean the remaining troops have now been redesignated Iraqi citizens?

13. Couldn't get out of Dodge fast enough, could he?
Even had to move it up by two days. He'll be paid handsomely for his efforts, I'm sure.

20. Hey MBS, I don't want to miss the next Blue Mesa or whatever thingy.
My wife and I are CA transplants among the Texicans. We need to meet people.

Blue Mesa looked like fun and I was sorry to miss it.

forestalling the attacks is REALLY working, isn't it? Not. Just looks like we're slinking on out.

"Here, hold this."

"What? Why? What is this?"

(First guy runs.)
