Ask them if they've seen it. When they say no, ask them how in the world you can argue with them about a film they haven't even seen.

Force them to see it.

1. Been there a Loooooong time already

I kept telling 'em for weeks, "until it comes out, there can be no intelligent debate about the film."

The new tact is for them to attack Moore. I always say, "You're getting off topic, here. The topic is the movie, not the producer."

Then I ask if they've seen it. When they say no, I tell them that trying to debate a subject they know nothing about makes them look foolish.

Here's what I would say: "If the message is so wrong, then why isn't there a neo-con version that refutes it? Where is the footage of the shrub being "noble" and "intelligent". If it's full of "lies" then PROVE IT. Make an entertaining, thought provoking film and promote it. Otherwise, SHUT YOUR PIEHOLE."
