Are there any Great Old Ones here?
And if so, do you communicate with bartenders and waitresses by:

A) - Batrachrian subsonic rumblings from within the walls of protoplasm that form your shambling bulk.

B) - Flapping your tentacles to form bizarre non-Euclidean geometric shapes and forms.

C) - Consuming bartenders and waitresses and helping yourself to whatever's in the fridge before laying waste to Earth.

2. It did get loose from the Pentagon.....
Some very dark rites were performed on September 11th, 2001.

Blood sacrifices by the thousand, just to gain power.

7. Danforth and I were utterly mad not to flee for our lives

There are those who will say Danforth and I were utterly mad not to flee for our lives after that; since our conclusions were now - notwithstanding their wildness - completely fixed, and of a nature I need not even mention to those who have read my account as far as this. Perhaps we were mad - for have I not said those horrible peaks were moutains of madness? But I think I can detect something of the same spirit - ableit in a less extreme form - in the men who stalk deadly beasts through African jungles to photograph them or study their habits. Half paralyzed with terror though we were, there was nevertheless fanned within us a blazing flame of awe and curiosity which triumphed in the end.
