F 9/11 coming to "a couple of hundred more theaters" this Wednesday

according to this article:

"Fahrenheit 9/11" opened in 868 theaters, a wide release for a documentary but narrow compared to big Hollywood flicks. The film averaged $25,115 a theater, compared to $7,190 in 2,726 cinemas for "White Chicks."

Distributors Lions Gate and IFC Films plan to put "Fahrenheit 9/11" into a couple of hundred more theaters this Wednesday, when competition heats up with the release of "Spider-Man 2," summer's most-anticipated movie.

Would be great to see more theatres in North Carolina show this remarkable film. We had to drive 40 miles to see it because it's not showing in Catawba County. We moved down from NY in Feb and joined met the Catawba Co. Dems last week. Met all 12! Man, I miss being in the majority!

The Carolina Theater in Durham is showing F 9/11 and it was at Michael Moore's special request too. He was here a few months ago while attending Durham's Full Frame Documentary Festival, where he spoke about his filmmaking.

Durham had it's 1000 plus seat theater sold out all weekend and they added an 11:30 PM show!

Sorry it feels so isloated out there in Catawba County, but there are some very Dem strongholds not terribly far away!
