Dale Earnhardt Jr. endorsing F911 is a HUGE deal
Even though his hasn't come out and said "vote for Kerry," Dale Earnhardt Jr. encouraging people to go see Fahrenheit 911 is a gift from the political gods.

The Earnhardt family is like royalty in the southern states, and the guy has more clout with rural whites than just about anyone in the country.

F911 is the most important film of the year, and if getting people to see it has the potential to change minds or bring people on the fence over to our side, I don't think its possible to overestimate the importance of what Little E said.

15. Why are they afraid to go?
Has there been trouble at the theater or are they afraid that they might be spotted?

19. I have no idea. They're in Georgia, I'm in California.
And I live in "Reagan Country" and was pleasantly suprised with the size of the crowds at both afternoon and morning shows (I went twice). I didn't expect that around here; we're a Navy town and our congressman is a Pug.

But I am telling them that Dale Earnhart Jr. said to go se it and he really recommends it. And that counts for a lot with some folks down there.

Heads Explode in Freeperville

Dale Earnhardt., Jr. tells his pit crew to go see Michael Moore's movie. From the freepi:

Verbatim from Chris Myers (Fox Sports announcer) on today's race at Pomona pre-race program..

"You think you know Dale Earnhardt Jr.? He advised his crew to go see the Michael Moore movie Farenheit 911. He said hey, it'll be a good bonding experience no matter what your political belief. It's a good thing as an American to go see... and it just shows you that Dale Earnhardt Jr. can reach far beyond the steering wheel."

16. Getting a guy like this to endorse Kerry would be good.
But I wonder if this is more important. I also wonder, though, if he was "endorsing" it, or merely thinking that the subject matter is of importance.
