I have a suggestion for DU (Skinner and Elad)

Might be wrong forum for this and may not even be a good idea though I think it is. You guys have been fairly damn successful in your fund raising for DU by establishing a goal and placing a bar graph at the top of the page showing progress. What if DU did some bundling for Kerry or other Democrats. Use the same technique of fund raising and send results to Kerry Campaign or Moveon.org. I know it might have a tendency to hurt a future fund raiser for yourselves but a lot of people will donate here but not bother to go to a Kerry site or other one and donate. I am just worried that funding may fall short and we somehow lose out at the last minute because of massive GOP campaign spots and not have anything left to rebut with. I really believe in bundling in all conceivable places and manner. Just think if ten thousand DUers donated ten dollars each it would be a hundred grand.

1. Interesting idea.....

I certainly wouldn't mind contributing to a collective Kerry fund-raiser in the name of DU. It might help to get our name out more than it already is. We are certainly stronger as a whole than we are as individuals.

I'm a little uneasy with that. I do however, like the idea of framing DU not only as an info and discussion board, but also a headquarters for national mobilization of activism.

How that could be done...I don't know, yet.
