Drudge scraping bottom for anti-Moore stuff
Edited on Mon Jun-28-04 05:53 PM by RatTerrier
Nevermind I've sent him four links about the Bush Hitler ad (including one from the NYT) and there's still nothing about it.

Now, he refers to an item on Smoking Gun about having voter registrations in two states.

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/0628041moore1.html

This is really grasping at straws. Normally, if one registers in another precinct, the old registration is null and void. I've been registered in at least five precincts in my lifetime, and never had to cancel a voter registration. I'm sure that is the case here. He has lived in two different states.

Methinks Drudge better try harder next time.

2. Damn that Moore!
He's going to sway the election with this sleazy tactic!

100,000,000 votes for Bush and 100,000,001 votes for Kerry!

Bastard!

7. When I moved from Maryland to California
I was, for a time, registered to vote in both states. It was explained to me that when you dont show up for election in Maryland for three or four elections, your name is automatically dropped from the rolls. You DO NOT have to de-register in the state you left.

Drudge is a moron.

4. He's seemed quite desperate of late...
with his "Clinton's book isn't selling on this particular block" list of links and his supremely grasping "We're gonna dig into Kerry's divorce papers like you dug into Jack Ryan's". Couldn't help but notice how he normally trumpets the weekend gross winners and has so quickly buried F-911'a performance---especially after initially headlining it as competeing against "White Chicks" on Saturday.

What a nasty...pseudo-pundit. :)

8. Nope
Drudge (Motto: I broke a story once, you know) is irrelevant. The only story he's ever broken had to be hand fed to him a piece at a time so he wouldn't fuck it up. And even then, it was a near thing.

The internet long ago outgrew Drudge. No one calls him with the Big Story; no one pays any attention to him. It's so much easier, faster and safer leaking stuff out to other websites. Drudge still clings to his stupid habits of "Breaking" and "Developing" stuff, but his lack of ethics and failure to follow up on "developing" matters have rendered him . . . impotent as a muckraker.

11. Good for her!
I don't have the stomach for it. I have an acquaintance who insists on sending me stuff from the Drudge Report, but I send it to the deleted file box before it even has a chance to open.
