Are the freepers actually REFUTING and F911 points?

I haven't seen it yet, but is there anything in there to refute? I know they're frothing at the mouths about it, but is there anything they could even remotely refute? Are there opinions or circumstances that could be cast in another light? I'd love to see ONE of them come up with a valid argument, but so far, I've seen nothing.

The freepers are now trying to counter the fact that Farenheit 9/11 got a bigger per screen gross than The Passion of the Christ by saying that The Passion of the Christ was the 8th largest opening, but Farenheit 9/11 was only the 222nd largest opening. This is like their desperate counter to the fact that Gore got more votes than Bush by touting their electoral red/blue map, when they proclaim that more acres voted for Bush than Gore.

17. I dont do the freeper thing but...

I was disapointed myself when Moore oppened himself up with that never threatened a single american comment. First couple things he said were fine but as I recall it the last went a bit to far... Must have heard it wrong though cause he has great fact checkers... Back to the theater to check ;-)

There are some articals trying to atack it but the most insidious I have seen so far is the argument that it is just a POV peice so no mater what you think durring it its just your emotions being played by the brilliant Moore... Which sucks because its so hard to objectively proove incorrect especialy to someone who has not seen the film, due to its use of partial truth.

yesterday, they had a few threads like this:

1) Michael Moore claims to "sell out" in Fayeteville

2) Huh? No way!

3) Michael Moore is fat

4) I just checked - F911 is playing at ONE theater in Fayeteville!

5) Did it sell out?

6) Yeah, but it's ONE theater! And not a very big one!

7) He is such a liar!

23. ONLY one I've heard so far..

is the Bush/Saudi relationship..."If the Saudis support Bush, why did they oppose the war in Afghanistan AND the war in Iraq...trying to subvert us at the UN and preventing their air space and our based in Saudi Arabia to launch attacks?

this is the ONLY thing they have right now..and it really isn't a "rebuttle" since Moore only implied things...he bent the facts and gave his .02 on every issue...but he didn't actually LIE about any specific thing...

24. Actually, Juan Coles Takes Michael Moore to Task on a Couple of Things

After praising F911 for things like interviewing hostile Iraqi citizens, the normally reliable Coles takes issue with what he hears is Moore's claim that the Saudis own 7% of the US economy (although he says he didn't directly hear that claim). He also complains about Moore's Saudi bashing, and says that the Afghan pipeline story doesn't make sense.

Nevertheless, the only factual error he refers to is hearsay. Maybe it came second-hand from a Freeper source.

27. Seriously, Read Juan Cole's Analysis

It's nothing like 7% -- a much, much smaller order or magnitude. Not to diminish the Saudis influence in DC.

BTW, I don't even know whether MM ever made this claim. The thread was just asking for examples of factual error.
