4. Technical question here |
|
Our downtown theatre complex has about 16 "screens" - perhaps 4 of them are devoted to F911 (at various overlapping times) - does that count as 1 or 4?

It's per theatre, the number of screens does not get factored in until they release the per screen figure.

8. Maybe I'll be able to see it now |

Portland OR (aka Lil' Beruit) is sold out all next week. I wasn't smart enough to buy my ticket in advance, so now with the added screens I may be able to get a seat.
Go Mike go!

The ones who would not show it opening weekend, waiting in the grass to see if the movie would be profitable, pushing their greedy hands forward only when it proves a viable business venture instead of taking a risk for the people. When I see it the second/third/fourth time, I will go to the same private arthouse theater that had the guts to show it to me the first time, on opening night.

Did you SEE the profits per theater? The number 2 movie for the weekend was White Chicks, making about $7000 per theater. Dodgeball made something like 5K. Fahrenheit made almost 24K per theater. Unbelieveable.
