If the Bushes are a real-life Corleone family...
then who's who? The Corleones have three sons, and the Bushes have three sons. George is obviously Fredo, and I think Jeb could be probably be Sonny. I don't know all that much about Neil, but since he's resistant to enter the family busines of politics, would he be Michael? Or I have just seen The Godfather one too many and it's finally made me snap?

1. Here's The Breakdown
Neil Bush is Sonny. Sonny couldn't control his urges. Like Sonny, Neil couldn't resist the urge to steal nor to have sex with many women.

George W. Bush is definitely Fredo. "I'm smart! I can do things! I'm not stupid like everyone else says!"

Jeb is Michael. Remember the plan was to run Jeb in 2000, but he lost the Florida's governor race in 1994. Jeb is smart, evil, and cunning just like his father.

2. I've always thought.
Neil was Fredo. He always gets to run the shitty scams (much like Fredo's "Mickey Mouse" club in Havana). He also gets caught a lot. He's totally useless.

Jeb is of course Michael.

Georgie reminds me of Sonny because of the tantrums and boneheaded impulsive decisions. So he wouldn't make a good Don. Much like Georgie.

3. Don't know about the Corleones...

But Allawi sure bears a striking resemblance to Tony Soprano!

5. Aren't you forgetting the fourth son?
Marvin? Wonder where he fits in? Maybe he's like Tony Soprano's sister, Beth, who stays WELL away from the family business?

6. I didn't know there was a fourth Bush son...
Oh well. Let's say he's Connie. Or the retarded Corleone that the family keeps locked up in the basement. I think his name was Corky.

7. Isn't Marvin with the Riggs Bank?
They kept the Saudi Embassy funds and laundered money. Some money from Riggs accounts went to 9-11 hijackers.

8. George is Michael for only one reason...
Edited on Tue Jun-29-04 09:54 AM by Connie_Corleone
No one in the family thought he would be president, much less governor (Although Michael was much more competent and very smart and just didn't want to be part of the family business). Jeb is Sonny. Everyone in the family knew he would someday be president. Neil is Fredo. An embarrasment to the family.

Marvin, I guess, would be Tom Hagen.
