1. Yep, it is good news for sure! |
|
The faux Conservatives failed miserably given the anger at the Liberals, the NDP were the beneficiaries of that anger not the faux Conservatives.

2. Do you think this is part of the anti-* backlash? |
|
I notice that Berlusconi's party lost BIG in Italy today. Even lost in Berlusconi's home area, Milan. :D

4. Yes, part of it, the faux Conservatives support for bush and the Iraq |
|
invasion hurt them, imo. 80% of Canadians despise bush and around 70% do not support the Iraq invasion and occupation so when Harper's record from Hansert ( the official record of our House of Commons) showed his ass-kissing statement re bush and his position that Canadian troops should have been sent to Iraq to help bush hurt him in the last days. Martin used the faux Conservatives support for Iraq very effectively near the end of the campaign.

6. The few governments in the world that showed support for * |

are being thrown out of power. Now the international wagons are circling around AWOL. Americans better vote him out this November or we will pay dearly, I fear.

7. Agree, the world is waiting to see the results of the November |
|
election. At the moment, it is overwhelmingly anti-bush not anti-American because we all know that he was selected not elected. If he were to actually be elected in November I suspect there will be a very negative reaction world-wide that could result in some big financial hits.

8. Unfortunately, if the election is close, it could still be stolen, ala bbv |
|
That's why Kerry needs a landslide at the polls. Because 30% of our precincts use these potentially crooked electronic voting machines, a landslide may end up looking like a close win for Kerry, but at least it would be a win!

And much of BC for that matter.
