Obama to speak at Democratic convention!
Kerry just said so live on CNN! He is speaking at the Rainbow P.U.S.H. conference. . .CNN is on the only one carrying it live.

2. If we're ready for a black President, he's a perfect candidate
I just posted a thread on this very subject today, but unfortunately it sank like a stone.

He's able to push progressive values and policies without being tied to old-fashioned liberalism, and more importantly he's able to relate to diverse groups of people -- from white suburbanites to inner-city blacks -- in a manner that they understand.

He's a rising star, to be certain!

4. He is a pure professional.
His responses to the Ryan sex scandal and the camera incident were terrific. Instead of playing politics, he commented that he just wanted to discuss the issues. He was polite and went on with his business.

I agree, he is a rising star.
