The fake Saddam handover is working |
|
I just read a post from a long-time online "friend" who is generally very up on the news, and is a rabid anti-Bushy. Despite her generally informed on these things, she was concerned about our handing over Saddam to the Iraqis. Why would we do that after all we went through to get him? What if they just kill him?
IOW, even some otherwise well-informed people are falling for the "we're handing over Saddam" ruse. We're handing over NO BODY. That is two words...no body. Just a paper transfer, as phony as Iraqi sovereignty. Here is a clip from her post...
"Goes to show that people who just scan headlines don't necessarily do it from apathy. Over the last few weeks that question of will they/won't they/should they got so tedious that I stopped reading -- not expecting to find anything noteworthy in the articles."
Break them down.

Looks a bit better on paper than in the real world...
Come to think of it, so did the election, the invasion, the proof of WMDs, Bush's speeches...
Didn't someone say we live in fictitious times? (Yes, I know who it was.)
