Scarborough distorts re F911 - expect this one to be repeated ad nauseam.

Last night, "killer" Joe Scarborough brought on some Lion's Gate exec to grill him over the content of Moore's movie (instead of Moore himself, or an informed progressive who could defend themselves).

Scarborough claimed that Moore was a liar for implying that the Bin Laden family were flown out of the country while planes were still grounded.

Of course the much bigger distortion is Scarborough's implication that the Bin Ladens were not in the air on the 12th. They were flown to the airport in Florida that was the gathering place, then flown out of the country just as the lockdown was lifted.

Yes, technically they weren't "flown out of the country" during the lockdown, but they were in the air when NOBODY else was. It's important that everybody be cognizant of this fact.

If Moore is to be faulted, it's for not making this fact more clear.

As for Sacrborough's assertion that Clarke was the only person who approved the Bin Laden skedaddle, I believe there was evidence that that order came from the top, not Clarke. I don't know why Clarke made the claim that he was the only one to OK the flight. If anyone has more details on that point, I'd appreciate it.

3. You are right about Clarke. He didn't make the initial decision.

He was the guy they passed the instructions on to. The 9/11 Commission was unable to find out WHO ordered it in the first place. Clarke said he didn't remember who told him to do it.

Although if there is not a way to tie that to a higher level, it is still obvious that there was approval for it all the way to the top, or they would have fired someone over it or put out a disclaimer.

Damn pisser about a Documentary is you can't say things were made up, so you pick at the edges...then employ the usual wingnut tactics...divert and distort.

O'Reilly, Hannity & Joeyboy are fighting a rear-guard deal right now...hoping to be the one who finds that "golden spike" to strike down Moore. This won't convince the majority, who knows this regime hasn't been on the level...just now some are seeing how deceived they've been. To the minority, they need something, anything that allows them to refute this movie within their own hive. Joey's trying to be the Killer Bee.

The media hasn't been able to beat this movie down and the facts speak for themselves. While I felt Moore went over the top on the emotion and didn't go deep enough with the facts, anyone who wants to kiss the regime's ass is hard-pressed to find fault with it and will take a pimple on a pimple.

The best compliment I heard some Repugnican spinmeister say was how their hive needed it's own Michael Moore.
