(3 marines killed) Nothing changes after handover scheme
BAGHDAD, Iraq — Three U.S. Marines were killed and another two were injured Tuesday when a roadside bomb blasted a military convoy in southeast Baghdad (search), the U.S. military said Tuesday.

1. I imagine, tomorrow, June 30 will be pretty bad
early handover or not I am sure a lot was planned for tomorrow anyway.
We'll see and hope for everyone's safety.

I've never ever felt like our troops were such sitting ducks before. I truly believe in these guys and girls even though some of them have been cooking in the sun and sand so long their judgements might be off a bit on who they shoot and kill. I can't JUDGE them. Living in fear and terrible conditions 24/7. I'm thinking about writing some letters or sending some care packages.

Our troops are in hell.

then they were dying for a US occupation, to protect a noble goal (at least some people believe that) now they are dying as mercenaries to protect a puppet government that can't protect itself from its own people.
