"Landslide Annie" does it again (Canada)

Poor Anne McLellan's campaign manager. I would hate to be him. I'd have little or no hair from tearing it out (come to think of it, I've met him and he doesn't have much hair...hmmm).

Ms. McLellan became known as Landslide Annie in 1993 when she won her Edmonton riding by just 1 vote (a recount bumped it up to a staggering 12).

In 1997 she won by 1,145 votes.

In 2000 she won by 733.

Yesterday she won by 711.

In each case it was a nail-biter and hair-puller right up to the end. I was at an after-election party watching TV and it was see-sawing up until 10:30 p.m.

given that the woman is in the CRAP stronghold of the country, Alberta, the fact that she keeps pulling it off astounds me and she needs to give her campaign manager major credit, imo!
