I've been around for a while and used to post a lot on the Dean blog until he was murdered by the media. (yes, and Kerry & Gephart)
I'm one of those guys who will hold their nose when they vote and hold Kerry's feet to the fire when he gets in. We need to do a lot more than just change presidents in this country.

Though I have been pretty apolitical for my 48 years (definitely on the left, but in general politics seemed pointless, no politician ever answers a question straight, etc), my 3 plus year spell of intense nausea due to Bush (sort of like a current version of cough due to cold!) has made me pay much more attention - I've been reading here for over a year (found it by finally typing Anti Bush Web Sites into Google, and this one - as well as Dubyaspeak.com - has become my favorite). I've been a bit hesitant to post until recently - though I have clear thoughts on political issues, I tend to lead with my heart- I tend to get chewed up alive by those who debate well. (anyone who knows about Myers Briggs - I am an ENFP....specificity and clarity are not natural for me - I live very happily in the grey areas!).

So, bear with me as I try out my posting wings. I will be happy when I can start a thread of my own...anyone knows how many posts one has to comment on before the ability to start threads is granted!

This site brightens my day in affirming that there are people who still think and care out there!

Fellow ENFP here, so you know I understand what you're talking about! I don't like to argue and I get frustrated with the black-0r-white point of view, etc. but this is a great discussion board and information clearinghouse.
