Poll question: How many people have you brought to see Moore's movie? |
|
Counting yourself doesn't count.

I had a house full of little nieces and nephews visiting over the weekend. They can't go to see R-rated movies yet.

5. I haven't had a chance to go yet... heavy academic load. |

But when I went to "Bolling for Columbine," I brought way more folks than allowed by law in my small car, on three separate occasions. We were driving through the French Quarter with arms and legs sticking out of the car... you just had to see it.
On second thought, this was normal activity for this town.

A colleague, his wife and my sister went to the very first showing on Friday at 11:00am. My apolitical sister who was so moved she brought her husband to the evening show.

there were eight people in our party. The second time we went, I brought 60. (Don't worry, they paid for their own tickets.)

Tomorrow hubby and I are taking some of his co-workers and we are sending this letter out to our family, friends, neighbors and anyone else we can think of. Link to letter: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x1889886It would be interesting to do another poll in a couple of weeks.

parents were persuaded to see it on Saturday. One other person who tagged along with that same couple didn't know any of the information presented and is telling everyone she knows to go and see the film. This same couple had never seen Bowling for Coumbine so they rented it on Sunday and were blown away again.
