Poll question: Who should speak in primetime at the convention?
As you may all know they have Bill and Teddy slated for Monday in primetime, however, they say Al will speak, but not sure when. He has been the most outspoken Dem the past 4 years and can rally the base like no other. Please vote for your choice!

4. To be honest none of those 3 excite me.....
I definitely say Clinton. But those are also 3 of the most polarizing figures in the democratic party. I think more than 1 of them in a prime time speaking spot is a mistake. There's just too much "old guard" feel about the 3 of them together. If we want to project a vision of taking the country into our future rather than a look into the past I think someone like Dean or Obama or Edwards (if he is not the VP) would be better selections.

Look at the republicans. Their speakers are people who are probably not loved by the republican "base" but who are appealing to america in general. I"m not saying we have to follow their lead to a tee, but there is a reason they are doing that.

9. Dean, Gore, Kucinich, and Robert Byrd.
Those are the 4 names off the top of my head, but you can also include anyone else whose had some balls and backbone to stand up to these frauds over the last 4 years.

Who I do NOT want to hear from is any spineless Bush appeaser. Can we just keep the DLC'ers out of the convention completely?

16. Mario Cuomo
The guy is a freakin' genius. Next to Bill C. and John Edwards, he's one of the best speakers in politics. He's clear, he makes sense, you want to listen to him. Dems need to get this guy back in the loop, fast.
